Who we are

Perth Strathspey and Reel Society, founded in 1989, is a voluntary organisation of about 35 musicians who perform traditional Scottish and Irish music. We perform at many fund raising events for Scottish dancing and concerts. The orchestra plays all over Scotland and has had tours in Canada. We have also produced a number of Compact Disks which can be purchased from the society. The orchestra consists of fiddles, accordions, piano, double basses, clarinets, flutes, penny whistle and a mandolin.

Society info

Our society is ably led by John Napier and we rehearse in Perth on a Wednesday evening at 7.00 in the A.K. Bell Library for two hours.

For information of where we are playing, please visit our Diary Page
